The Ghost
The ghost is one of the most
known paranormal creatures. Many accounts of ghosts have been recorded though.
Although some have turned out to be hoaxes, many are still unexplained. One
legend tells of a man going to a haunted site in which many others were frightened
off by the sounds of chains rattling. One night the man heard the sound and
followed it. He then marked the place and in the morning dug up the location.
There he discovered bones with chains on them. From that point on the bones
were given a proper burial and from then on the rattling stopped. This account
describes one reason in which the person’s spirit remained due to improper
burial. There are many other reasons why spirits remain behind such as
unfinished business in his or her life before or because of the cause or way of
death.
